A baby sister for Finley Grace

We are 17w 3d pregnant with our second little girl. We have been put on complete bed rest for the duration of the pregnancy, so I feel she needs part of her name to reflect our journey. She is definitely a gift from God, which is why I love [name]Jane[/name] for a middle name.

The only name my husband and I agree on so far is [name]Quinn[/name]. We both like [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amadea[/name] and I also like [name]Quincy[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and my husband likes Quinley [name]Jane[/name] [name]Amadea[/name]. I know a lot of people might think these are all too rhyme-y with [name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name], so my question is what would your suggestions be for a baby sister for [name]Finley[/name]. We tend to like the unisex names with a feminine middle name.

I appreciate all suggestions!!!

I think think are too rhyme y too…
What are some other names you are considering…
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Teegan[/name]
[name]Avery[/name]
[name]Ryan[/name]
You could have a girlie name
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]PHOEBE[/name]

Here’s a list of names that we’ve tossed around:

[name]Emerson[/name] [name]Jane[/name] - husband vetoed [name]Emerson[/name].
[name]Sawyer[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Cooper[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Ellison[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Bennett[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Bellamy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Elliott[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] [name]Amadea[/name]

Granted, I also love surnames on girls, but [name]Finley[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name] (Esp the longer versions you listed) is too matchy [name]IMO[/name]. I do like [name]Aquinnah[/name] [name]Jane[/name], but if there’s are chance they’d be [name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Fin[/name] a lot, then no.

I’d also avoid names ending in -ley for the same reason- like [name]Finley[/name] and [name]Hadley[/name].

There are gorgeous surnames out there- great sister names to [name]Finley[/name]. [name]Jane[/name] is a fitting mn in your case, and good with [name]Grace[/name].

[name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and

[name]Cooper[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Spencer[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Parker[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Callaway[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Kendall[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Destry[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Averill[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Tierney[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Glover[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Hemingway[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Harper[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (popular)

You could also go with a surname-ish feel, sort of a tailored girl name like-
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Tanith[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Margo[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Bronwyn[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Kimber[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

A place name or word name is tailored enough for [name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] too:

[name]Dallas[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Savannah[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Brooklyn[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]River[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Cadence[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Meadow[/name] [name]Jane[/name]

Like [name]Quin[/name] [name]Amadea[/name] and [name]Bellamy[/name] [name]Jane[/name].

[name]Do[/name] you like [name]Dorothea[/name]? Or [name]Dorothy[/name]? [name]Dorothea[/name] and [name]Theodora[/name] means gift from God, from greek doron and theos god. Could also mean Gift from [name]Goddess[/name], because [name]Thea[/name] is female grammar version of god, theos.

Of your list I love [name]Ellison[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (I also love that you could use [name]Ellie[/name] as a nn if you wanted). I also like the meaning of [name]Ellison[/name], if you break it down to the original form [name]Elias[/name].
[name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Ellison[/name] [name]Jane[/name] sound very pretty together!

I really like the name [name]Dylan[/name] for a girl, and think it goes great with [name]Finley[/name].

Like the above suggestion of [name]Tierney[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (Irish like [name]Finley[/name] and very underused)

Also would like to add [name]Darcy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]… even though it may seem feminine, it’s actually a male first name and also a common surname.

[name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Darcy[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be super sweet.

I’d go all the way and name her [name]Quincy[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
Quinley [name]Jane[/name] sounds too made up.

I love the name [name]Quinn[/name] for a little baby girl, not so sure how [name]Quinn[/name] [name]Jane[/name] flows, too much single syllable going on. I have a [name]Harper[/name] so Im particularly fond of that name too!
[name]How[/name] about [name]Haven[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Avery[/name],[name]Rowan[/name], or [name]Willow[/name]?

I am due in 3 weeks with a baby girl and [name]Quincy[/name] is our number one  So of course I love [name]Quincy[/name] [name]Jane[/name]! I think as long as you don’t call [name]Finley[/name] “[name]Fin[/name]” and [name]Quincy[/name] “[name]Quin[/name]” you would be fine to name her [name]Quincy[/name]. But if nicknames are your thing (which they are in my family) then I would avoid that. Other options we have also considered, as we have a pretty similar taste to you and your husband, are:

[name]Tatum[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name]
[name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Blakely[/name]
[name]Landry[/name]
[name]Keeley[/name]

Good luck with bed rest and naming your little one!

[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is my favorite.
