I am expecting a son in Nov. I am struggling to not only find names my partner and I mutually like, but even names that I love myself.
We already have a son, his name is [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m] E-. This baby will only have one middle name, which so far we have found options we like. Fraiser (to honor a loved one) or [name_u]Finch[/name_u] (we just love it). They arenāt set in stone but we love them.
Could I pretty please have suggestions for first names? Iāve scrolled Nameberryās database but I keep going in circles. I want a name outside the top 200 baby names, something that will sound as cool as [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. Preferably not ending in -er nor starting with A (donāt particularly want matchy) though at this point Iād be willing to compromise on it as I just want a name for my son :ā(
I actually adore [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] but got a very firm no from my partner :ā( [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] and [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] just got an okay ish from him but he didnāt seem in love.
Itās hard that we fell so instantly in love with Archers name now it feels off that we arenāt falling instantly in love with our next babyās name. <3
Iād love any more suggestions anyone else has! Thank you so, so much for all the suggestions so far! Most the names were pretty on point with my style I think
I have been thinking of [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] ā[name_u]Teddy[/name_u]ā but our surname starts with the ā[name_m]Ed[/name_m]ā sound so itās a bit rhymey. Iām still considering it butā¦ I do really like [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] as well.
Fingers crossed heāll agree to something. Heās been super picky lately :ā(
I have to say I love your sonās name! Being Norwegian I donāt really know whatās in or out of your top 200, so Iām just gonna throw out some names I feel go well with [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. A lot of these are from Norse mythology or Scandinavian, so just let me know if you want additional information.
To be honest, my first thought was [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m], but obviously that is also an occupational name with ties to archery. [name_m]How[/name_m] much more matching can you get!
But anyway, time for the list that fits your wishes!
