[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
We are expecting our second child in a few months, and I’m almost certain it will be a second son. We had three favorite combos picked out for girls, [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]India[/name_f] [name_u]Finch[/name_u], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] [name_u]Finch[/name_u], or [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Liberty[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], if that helps pin down our naming style.
For a boy, we’ve got nothing, except the second middle name, [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m]. So, _____ _____ [name_m]Wolfe[/name_m] Lastname. Our little boy is [name_m]Henry[/name_m] H. [name_m]Fox[/name_m]. The second middles are all family names, and I’ll admit I’m a bit smitten with the idea of two boys with the fox & wolf association. I like alliteration, but I’m not married to the idea.
We have a list, but I don’t love any of our choices:
[name_m]Leo[/name_m], my husband’s top choice. I like it, but I’m worried it comes across more trendy than classic, and we both hate the nickname [name_u]Lee[/name_u].
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u]/[name_m]Augustus[/name_m], possibly with the nickname [name_u]Gus[/name_u].
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m], although everyone we know seems horrified by the idea of a child named [name_m]Fred[/name_m].
[name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Whitman[/name_m], and [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] have also been thrown around, especially as middle names.
Names we like but cannot use: [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]/[name_m]Charles[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Edward[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], and [name_m]Louis[/name_m].
Any ideas, Nameberry? For a first AND middle name? I love reading this site for inspiration, and these forums always have the best ideas for name combos and nicknames, but I swear, NOTHING sounds right for this little babe!
