Months later, her mother died, leaving [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] with her father. Trying to fill the gap her mother had left, her father became set and determined to become the best parent he could be. He learned to braid her thick, black hair, and taught her to write. [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] became a wonderful poet and violinist. [name_u]Lyric[/name_u]'s grades are average, and she strongly dislikes her school uniform. she gets home as fast as possible after school (she gets the bus to the village, then runs from there), changes clothes, then does homework in the forest, often sitting in a tree. she has three pet frogs, which she rescued. their names are [name_f]Ethel[/name_f], [name_f]Melinda[/name_f], and [name_m]Hubert[/name_m].
