I think it would be a cool idea to use my mom’s and mother-in-law’s names and combine them to make a middle name for a girl.
Their names are:
[name]Diana[/name] (my in-law)
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Lou[/name] ([name]Lou[/name] isn’t really the middle name–it’s part of the first name)
The only one’s I can think of are:
[name]Marianna[/name] (sounds old to me)
[name]Louanna[/name] (also sounds old)
Diary (I’m not sure how I feel about this as a name…)

I think that’s a great idea! We used 2 great-grandma names for our daughter’s middle name.
[name]How[/name] about [name]Anna[/name] [name]Mary[/name] or [name]Ana[/name] [name]Mary[/name]? It’s not exactly a combo name, but 2 names - if you’re not opposed to 2 middle names. It sounds fresh, not old, to me. [name]Anamary[/name] would probably lead to questions on how to pronounce.
The only others I came up with were AnnaLou/Annalou (which kinda runs together) and Dilou (brings to mind a deluge - so probably not a keeper and it looks funny.) :lol:
Please don’t use Diary as a name.
