✨ a combo you used to love, and still secretly do

hey berries :yellow_heart:

i was thinking today about what my first name lists looked like, and remembered a beautiful combo that was on my list:

emma rose :rose:

i know it probably seems a bit boring to some, but it still encapsulates everything that i think a name should be.

what are examples from your list?

[name_m]Snær[/name_m] Óli - I just really love this for a boy, the flow and the way it sounds. If I’d have lived in [name_f]Iceland[/name_f], I probably would have used it for Hjörtur, but [name_m]Snær[/name_m] is unusable outside of [name_f]Iceland[/name_f].

Ooh, [name_m]Snær[/name_m] looks intriguing and has a cool meaning! Is it pronounced like snare or something else??

It’s pronounced sn-eye-r (like the word eye). Here’s someone from Iceland pronouncing it, because I’m terrible at describing pronunciations  https://forvo.com/word/snær/

[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] does have a nice simplicity.

Back when I was 12/13, I used to really like [name_f]Lorilyn[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] as a combo and while it’s not something I’d ever use these days, I do think it has a kind of fun sound

[name_m]Ah[/name_m], that makes sense! I really enjoy the sound

um… i think mary jane sunshine is still a gp for me, even if mary jane comes on and off my list. and willa abilene sojourner has the prettiest meaning of any combo i’ve come up with!
