A few more names we like?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]. Which. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you guys like best with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] “[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]”??

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]? ( not sure if this sounds ok??)
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]

I like a lot of those but don’t know which I love. Curious what others like. I don’t care to much about popularity! I just want to know which sound good with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]’s name!

Thanks!!

I really like:

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (lively, familiar with a little flair like [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. [name_f]Cece[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are cute together)

[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (I like the alliteration. Like [name_f]Eliana[/name_f], [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] feels fresh but classic and well established. [name_f]Maddy[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are sweet!)

[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (pretty and full of elegance but [name_f]Addie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are both fun and versatile)

I like [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] or [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cece[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Addie[/name_f] would be very cute!

Thank guys. Anyone else??

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my thoughts:

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-I love this! It’s my favorite from your list. Probably because it’s my sweet kitty’s name. She’s usually called [name_f]Mia[/name_f], but occasionally [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. I love both, & think that it goes great w/[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. It’s smart, feminine & old fashioned.

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-This is okay. It’s a little stuffy, and also a little 80s. I don’t care much for [name_f]Vicki[/name_f] or [name_f]Tori[/name_f] personally. It doesn’t have the same sweet soft feeling as [name_f]Eliana[/name_f].

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-This is really nice. It fits in well, & isn’t terribly over done (even though you said you don’t care that much about that.) I’m not sure if [name_f]Celie[/name_f] & [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are a little cutesy together, but it’s probably fine.

[name_f]Alexia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-Meh, I don’t care for this one. It seems a little made-up-ish.

[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-I think that this sounds fine. I definitely think that [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is prettier & more charming. [name_f]Maddie[/name_f] is kind of meh, but I love the nn [name_f]Maisy[/name_f]!

[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-I love [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. It seems to fit well w/[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. [name_f]Addie[/name_f] is really over done though.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-This is beautiful & fits in really well. [name_m]How[/name_m] cute are [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] & [name_f]Livy[/name_f] for sisters?

[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]-I think that this fits, but it’s not as pretty as some of the others in my opinion. And you may end up w/an ‘[name_u]Allie[/name_u]’ nn, which is too close to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. [name_u]Alex[/name_u] is boyish to me, & [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] is just okay. Reminds me of a snobby cheerleader for reason.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] for you.

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is still my favorite for you! It really sounds perfect next to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f].

I agree with a pp that [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] might be too… and maybe [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]? (I too have a penchant for strong “L” sounds and lots of little syllables, so no judgement, but I’d nix these for that reason.)

I love [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] the most here! [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] feels quite heavy to me (just personal preference) and I prefer [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] to [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] - just sounds a little bit more sophisticated to me (either is OK with [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - I actually like the alliteration). [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] isn’t my taste but I don’t have a good reason for it and it’s fine with [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f].

[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is my favorite. [name_f]Addie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] would make a great sister set.

I really love how [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] both sound with [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. I’m currently crushing on the nickname [name_f]Millie[/name_f], which alongside [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is the most common nicknames for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] especially could be too close to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. That being said, I think [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] would be a terrific choice! You could call her [name_f]Cece[/name_f], [name_f]Cissy[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f]…

I like [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] the best because it’s the least similar to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and it’s pretty cute. The other names would sound confusing with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f], in my opinion.

Thank you all. None of the names to me are to close to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. I just don’t know what I like best!!

So we have finally agreed and confirmed.
If the next is a boy he’ll be [name_m]Callan[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] “[name_u]Cal[/name_u]” and if the next is a girl she’ll be [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] “[name_f]Maddie[/name_f]”!!! ”

My response was going to be [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] before seeing your final post. Such a great name!! So pretty and best option to pair with [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] which was your original concern- for some reason the double vowel was throwing me off so [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] was an obvious choice.
