I think they make an adorable combo!! I know quite a few Esthers and I grew up with a Freya. And I’ve heard a couple people name their baby girls both lately. I’m in the states :+1:t2:

Yes, yes, pretty good together

I’m in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and we had 3 Freya’s in our (fairly small)playgroup.

I think [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is totally useable and [name_f]Essie[/name_f] is so sweet. I love [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] together

1: I think [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is totally usable in the U.S.

2: I have not personally met a [name_f]Freya[/name_f] in the U.S. but I think it’s a very pretty name and I personally love it, though spelled [name_f]Freja[/name_f]

3: I think that [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] is a very cute subset.

  1. Absolutely

  2. [name_f]My[/name_f] friend’s sister just named her baby [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. First one I’ve actually known of personally and not on tv or something.

  3. They sound great together!

  1. Yes, I’ve known an [name_f]Esther[/name_f]
  2. No, I’ve never heard of a [name_f]Freya[/name_f] in [name_u]America[/name_u]
  3. They’d work fine, although I really like [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and not [name_f]Esther[/name_f]

Not sure why [name_f]Esther[/name_f] wouldn’t be usable :woman_shrugging:t2: Such a gorgeous name!

I’ve never personally met a little [name_f]Freya[/name_f], but I’ve come across a couple on social media. I believe at least one of them was in the US.

I think they make okay sisters, not great. I prefer [name_f]Freya[/name_f] with names more like [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] & [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] with names like [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] & [name_f]Maxine[/name_f].

Yes, [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is usable. Not sure why it wouldn’t be

I’ve heard [name_f]Freya[/name_f] when talking about Norse mythology…does that count? lol

Sure, they work as a sibset but I’m not an expert in matching sibset styles

  1. I don’t see why Esther wouldn’t be useable, albeit the Biblical associations.

  2. I have heard Freya used in America, but only for dogs.

  3. They can work, but are too stylistically different. If that doesn’t bother you though, then sure.

Hmm

Esther is lovely & completely usable I actually think she could start getting a lot of attention she has that vintage vibe which is popular, feels very classic and has a lovely celestial meaning which appeals to a lot of people.

I’m English I’m not sure about the popularity in the states of Freya however very popular across the pond. Also I think names start becoming popular in U.K. then travel to the states I think Freya could do that.

Freya & Esther is a gorgeous pairing in my opinion.

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] is lovely and I think it’s usable. I’m not in the US but I think [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] could make a sweet sibset

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] is usable, and I have known a few. I have met a little [name_f]Freya[/name_f]. I think they would make good sisters, but their different origins would take me by surprise (Esther being a Biblical name and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] being a Norse goddess).

  1. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] seems like one of the most usable names ever. A classic with no negative associations. I can’t see why you are even wondering?

  2. A friend’s friend.

  3. They would be nice together

I think [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] would be adorable together!! Both names are totally usable in the US, though I don’t think I’ve met one of either ever!

I don’t hear it very often at all, but [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is definitely usable! I’ve met quite a few young Freyas over the years in the US. [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] go well together in a sibset.

esther is totally usable!

i live in america & i don’t know any freyas, but i know a freyja (pronounced the same).

i also think they would make addorable siblings!

  1. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is totally usable!

  2. I live in the US and know one [name_f]Freya[/name_f], she is in high school.

  3. I think they work well as sisters!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. Have always had [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Hester[/name_f], [name_f]Hestia[/name_f] on my list. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the sound

[name_f]Esther[/name_f] is usable.

Yes, [name_f]Freya[/name_f] is also usable in the US. In fact, they recently did a birth announcement on my local (US-based) morning news for a [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_u]Birch[/name_u].

[name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] would make great sisters.
