A few questions

I have a few various questions and figured it would be easier to ask all in one post. [name_m]Just[/name_m] planning, not expecting.

  1. Thoughts on combos [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (individually and as a sister set)

  2. I know initials usually don’t matter but do the initials EEK seem weird/negative (because of the expression “eek!”)

  3. Thoughts on [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]

  4. Does [name_u]Louise[/name_u] seem like a “filler” middle name

Thanks!

I would not use [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] - if this was the case [name_u]Louise[/name_u] would feel like a filler name but I very much think [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is beautiful and less common than Ann/ Marie/ Elizabeth/ [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

I like [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] as sisters. They are unexpected but yet pair well in the spunky short names

I don’t think Eek is a bad initial to have but I would totally avoid [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] , [name_f]Danielle[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] or [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]

  1. [name_m]Way[/name_m] to go on [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] & sultry & youthful all in one name! [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] on the other hand I am not a fan of, I don’t normally go for repeating letters

  2. Yes, EEK initials do seem weird and throw me off

  3. [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is also pretty, though a surprising combo. For some reason I don’t expect to see those two names next to one another

  4. No, [name_u]Louise[/name_u] doesn’t seem like filler

  1. Both of these are lovely combos, and all the names separately are good. I think they also make an excellent sister set.
  2. eek is not terrible at all, but I guess if you can come up with some other middle you love as much then I would do that. Why settle for eek if you don’t have to?
  3. A bit boring and expected
  4. [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is a filler middle in my experience. I would avoid it. Not nearly as wonderful as [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

1: I love Zoe Violet and Eden Eloise both individually and as a sister set. So classic and pretty!

2: EEK are such fun initials! As a kid, I was always jealous of the kids whose initials spelt a word. These would be excellent initials.

3: Zoe Louise is gorgeous. Great flow and two solid, beautiful, feminine names.

4: Louise is a family name on multiple sides of my family! I love it as a middle and definitely do not see it as a filler.

  1. Thoughts on combos Zoe Violet and Eden Eloise (individually and as a sister set)

Zoe Violet is sharp and sleek with a stylish vibe. Eden Eloise is warm, balanced and sweet. I think they make a sweet set

  1. I know initials usually don’t matter but do the initials EEK seem weird/negative (because of the expression “eek!”)

I don’t think it’s too weird. Kind of fun

  1. Thoughts on Zoe Louise

Zoe Louise has a more classic feel

  1. Does Louise seem like a “filler” middle name

A little if I’m honest, but it’s not bad

  1. I really like [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. I enjoy the alliteration in the latter and the vivacious z and v sounds in the former!

  2. EEK as initials are perhaps not ideal but I agree with PPs who have said that they’re fun rather than negative. [name_f]My[/name_f] first association with ‘eek’ is that it is the noise that a mouse makes, by the way

  3. I find [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] quite nice, but I much prefer [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I think the vowel sounds are a bit repetitive in [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] and [name_u]Louise[/name_u].

  4. I really like what a lot of people call filler names. I’d use [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a first name, for example. I like [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] very much in the middle spot etc. Now [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is a name I disliked until recently, and suddenly I’m seeing its charm. In a lot of combos I’ve seen on here I think it compliments the first name, rather than being a bland filler, and enhances the name as a whole. E.g. @Greyblue’s [name_f]Tamar[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]. [name_u]Louise[/name_u] also carries a great meaning.

I really like [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (both names are on my own list!!) although it does make me think of American Horror [name_u]Story[/name_u] as they are both the names of Taissa Farmiga’s characters in that show!! [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is too many E’s for my personal taste, but the flow is good, and I like [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] as sisters! (also dont think theres anything wrong with the eek initials) Personally, i think [name_u]Louise[/name_u] does sound like a filler name and wouldn’t personally use it unless there was a strong family link or something similar

  1. I like both [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! I think they are both nice names and work nicely together. I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] with a Y though.

  2. I don’t think EEK seems negative exactly. It could come up if monograming is popular where you are. When I went to school most people had their initials on their backpack. So it could become a joke at that point. It doesn’t seem negative enough to disqualify the name though.

  3. [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is nice. I like [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] more than [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] though.

  4. I view [name_u]Louise[/name_u] as kind of a filler middle name. It’s one of those middle names that are definitely popular. If it has a family history or some kind of significance I like it. If it’s just a name to put there because it sounds cool I’m not a fan.

  1. [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] are pretty, both together and separate
  2. It’s not a huge problem in my opinion, if you love the names go for it!
  3. I like it a lot! Seconding the vowels slightly running into each other, but I much prefer this to [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
  4. Not at all! [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is timeless and elegant
  1. [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is lovely! The alliteration on [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] bothers me a little bit, but I still really like it. They would go beautifully together!

  2. It would be a little weird to me, but since initials generally aren’t super important I wouldn’t consider it a dealbreaker

  3. I prefer [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], however [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] is nice! It has good flow

  4. Definitely not!

If you’re considering [name_u]Louise[/name_u], what about [name_u]Eden[/name_u] Louise/Louisa?

The names are nice, but they don’t flow very well. They would work as sisters though!

I do think they are a bit weird. You could do worse though.

Zoe Louise flows much better than Zoe Violet! Just don’t use Eloise and Louise for siblings.

Not really. I mean, it’s not super rare for a middle name, but it’s not super common either.
