I’m looking for a boy name that sounds knightly. I have one son named [name_m]Benton[/name_m] [name_m]Grover[/name_m]. To me his name sounds like it could easily be from Game of Thrones or [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the Rings. That’s what I’m going for. Not necessarily a character name (since I also have a daughter named [name_f]Arwen[/name_f]), but a name that sounds like it could be for a man of Gondor, [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], or Winterfell. Extra points if the name ends in N! My husband is [name_m]Brian[/name_m] and I’m [name_f]Cathryn[/name_f], so we all have N ending names. If I fall in love with something that doesn’t end with N it’s not the end of the world though. Thanks!

This was a fun exercise, maybe something will strike your fancy!
I’ve never seen game of thrones, so I go to actual [name_m]Knight[/name_m] names. However, you could look at names of men who were knighted. We studied Sir [name_m]Walter[/name_m] [name_u]Raleigh[/name_u] today. [name_m]Walter[/name_m] and [name_u]Raleigh[/name_u] could both work. A few suggestions:
[name_m]Truman[/name_m]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m]
[name_u]Robin[/name_u]
I can’t wait to see what people come up with! I’ve been looking for names similar to what you’d find in LOTR and GoT without being character names.
[name_u]Corin[/name_u]
[name_m]Oren[/name_m]
[name_m]Conan[/name_m]
[name_m]Dallin[/name_m]
[name_m]Soren[/name_m]
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m]
[name_m]Theron[/name_m]
[name_m]Branagan[/name_m]
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]Caledon[/name_m]
[name_m]Corcoran[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyprian[/name_m]
I think using a C name would be really cool (unless you fall in love with something else, of course!) The only name I could think of that sounds like your style but doesn’t end in N is [name_m]Garrick[/name_m].
[name_m]Gareth[/name_m]
[name_m]Tristram[/name_m]
[name_m]Theon[/name_m]
[name_m]Ivan[/name_m]
[name_m]Leander[/name_m]
[name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_m]Efrain[/name_m]
[name_m]Cadogan[/name_m]
[name_m]Cadmon[/name_m]
[name_m]Cassian[/name_m]
[name_m]Ossian[/name_m] / [name_m]Oisin[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyprian[/name_m]
[name_m]Gawen[/name_m]
I second the earlier suggestion of [name_m]Soren[/name_m]- I think this would be perfect!
The names that comes to my mind are [name_m]Dresden[/name_m] and [name_m]Ramsey[/name_m].
Thank you all! I’m loving a lot of these and just sent this link to my husband for him look over as well. Keep them coming!
I would say:
[name_m]Maverick[/name_m] (shortened [name_f]Mave[/name_f], which is cute), [name_m]Darragh[/name_m] (Irish) or [name_m]Merton[/name_m] (sounds like [name_m]Merlin[/name_m], but a little different)
You could use [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] too, but that’s really if it’s your stile
Please tell us the name you pick btw
I only know several [name_m]Knight[/name_m] names or [name_m]Knight[/name_m] like names that end in N.
[name_m]Lucan[/name_m]
Gauen
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u]
[name_u]Cardon[/name_u]
Crespin
[name_m]Hamlin[/name_m]
Sigen
And then there is Palidor the virtuous [name_m]Knight[/name_m] -Palidon
Well I like the name [name_m]Knight[/name_m] so you could always use that
[name_m]Gannon[/name_m] is one of my favorites!
[name_m]Oran[/name_m] or [name_m]Oren[/name_m]
[name_m]Ozias[/name_m]
[name_m]Balthasar[/name_m]
Saltaire
I really love your kids’ names! (Especially [name_f]Arwen[/name_f]! Gotta love LoTR
) Some of these suggestions are characters or linked to Arthurian legend and others just sounded knightly to me.

[name_m]Gareth[/name_m]
[name_m]Griffin[/name_m]/[name_m]Griffith[/name_m]
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m]
[name_m]Peregrin[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m]
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]
[name_u]Corin[/name_u]

[name_m]Dain[/name_m]
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucan[/name_m]
[name_u]Winslow[/name_u]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m]
[name_m]ARTHUR[/name_m] all the way!
