I’ve been struggling with a middle name for [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] for a while now, and I have found one combination that I like, but, I’m unsure on it’s flow or how well it would work, or how well I’d be able to pair up other names with it (I have this thing, it’s either all double middles, or all 1 middle for my kids, I can’t have it unbalanced, I’m weird haha).
Currently, I like [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], or [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f].
[name_f]Do[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] work well with [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tillie[/name_f]? (still unsure on my preferred spelling).
[name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to suggest what ever middle names you like with [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tillie[/name_f], but please, no ‘full name’ suggestions
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] is pretty–reminds me of “till evening”
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is also nice, but a lot of T
@kala_way thank you, haha, I really like [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Fay/name_f, it’s pretty, and [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f] is lovely too.
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is so pretty. [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] would be striking too.
I much prefer [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] to [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] in general, but with [name_f]Tillie[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] I like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] more. [name_f]Tillie[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] sounds magical and so sweet! I’d go with [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] spelling for the [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] combo, there are too many Ys already for my liking.
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is gorgeous, too, though. Sounds a bit more serious and regal to me.
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is gorgeous. I also like [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Tillie[/name_f], such a charming name.
@polina - I get what you mean about too many y’s, haha, I love Tillie Imogen Rose, Tillie Charlotte, Tilly Violet and Tilly Katharine too!
@lovemysweeties - I never used to love it that much, but all of a sudden I do! I think I’d likely pair it with Alice when it comes to siblings, the idea of having two little girls named Tillie/Tilly and Alice makes me happy :’)
