Hello all! I am expecting a daughter soon and her first name will be [name_f]Elle[/name_f], and her middle names will be [name_u]Anne[/name_u] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] after our mums (me and my husband). We’re having trouble deciding on the order of her middle names though -
I prefer [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u], as I think it has a little better flow with a one syllable first name and 3 syllable middle name right after it. [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] name combinations all around!
I like alliteration and I love the flow of the repeated ‘el’ sound it’s very elegant. [name_f]My[/name_f] own daughter is [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] so I am bias! So of course it comes at no surprise my favourite is [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] flows better even though I’m not a fan of the repeated el sound however it depends on whether you can get past that
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] gets my vote. I think it’s lovely and the EEA combo (vs EAE) doesn’t bother me at all. [name_m]Plenty[/name_m] of people have repeat initials.
