Expecting our second child soon and I’m looking for a name to go with [name_m]Kian[/name_m].
Our top names currently are:
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] (nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u])
[name_m]Enzo[/name_m] (hubby not as much on board with this one though)
Which name do you prefer or what other names would you recommend?
The only thing is that I plan on having probably 2 more children and chances are that I might end up with another boy. If I use [name_u]Finn[/name_u] I’m afraid i’ll be stuck trying to come up with another 4 letter Irish boys name that ends with “n”. I don’t know if I want to get stuck on just one style of name for all our kids. I feel like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] matches the best, but the other names open up more possibilities for future children’s names.
I love the suggestion [name_u]Dash[/name_u], but I don’t think I’m brave enough to use it
I like [name_u]Reed[/name_u] as well and it will probably be the 2nd of two middle names for the child
I like [name_m]Cael[/name_m] as well, but am trying to avoid C and K names so that they are too “matchy”
hmmm tough choice. I agree [name_u]Finn[/name_u] is best stylistically, but they are a bit matchy. They sound good together tho, since they are different syllables. [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] are good names too. [name_u]August[/name_u] would be my other choice to go with [name_m]Kian[/name_m].
[name_m]Kian[/name_m] & [name_u]Finn[/name_u] vs
[name_m]Kian[/name_m] & [name_u]August[/name_u]
Yeah, I prefer the latter. But love the other suggestions for spunky Irish names like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Shea[/name_u].
how about something like [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] or [name_m]Milo[/name_m]? Or [name_u]Gael[/name_u] (since you like [name_m]Cael[/name_m] but not the K/hard C)?
[name_m]Kian[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] are pretty perfect together but I understand what you mean with regards to continuing the style. I don’t think you would have to stick with the style but I guess the Irish-ness does stand out, although something like [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]/[name_m]Ronan[/name_m] or [name_u]Rory[/name_u] would work…
Otherwise, I like the suggestion of [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m], both are adorable.
