Hello! So my mother is Brenda and I would like to honor her in the middle spot but I really can’t imagine using her name. It doesn’t flow in the middle spot with anything I like.
I’m looking for suggestions of something similar with no real requirements other than it not being a REALLY far stretch.
[name_f]Enna[/name_f] shares the “sword” meaning and it’s awfully cute.
[name_f]Brenna[/name_f], [name_u]Brennan[/name_u], etc are probably the best alternatives sound-wise. Could you use your mother’s middle name or maiden name perhaps?
How about using [name_f]Bren[/name_f], maybe as a second middle? It’s a concise extra name that may help with flow. It retains Brenda’s awesome meaning. [name_f]My[/name_f] stretchy suggestion via meaning is [name_f]Katana[/name_f]
[name_u]Briar[/name_u]
[name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_u]Brook[/name_u] or [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]
[name_f]Bronagh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beren[/name_f]
[name_f]Berenice[/name_f]
[name_f]Berenicia[/name_f]
Containing [name_u]Ren[/name_u]:
Corenna
[name_f]Ehrena[/name_f] or [name_f]Erena[/name_f]
[name_u]Eren[/name_u]
[name_f]Erendira[/name_f] (lovely meaning and has 5/6 letters from Brenda!)
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Florentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Irena[/name_f]
[name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]
[name_f]Rena[/name_f] (such a nice meaning!)
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] (the meaning of ‘reborn’ adds a lovely generational connection too, I think)
[name_u]Seren[/name_u]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Suren[/name_f]
[name_f]Tarena[/name_f]
[name_f]Verena[/name_f]
