I’ve been trying some time to find a name like [name_u]Abby[/name_u].
I wish to find one that has the first two letters in the name, A An B, but so far I have had no luck in my search.
The only name I somewhat like is [name_f]Abony[/name_f],but it is not my favorite name and I am wondering if there are more options out there…
I don’t like too frilly of girl names (ones like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f],[name_u]Abilene[/name_u],[name_f]Abelia[/name_f]),and I like ones that are not over used (the problem with [name_u]Abby[/name_u]).
If you know of any, they would be much appreciated…I would love to put an [name_m]AB[/name_m] name for a girl on my list.
Thanks 18_25,I suppose I could use [name_u]Abby[/name_u] too, haha! When talking to my best friend,it might get a little confusing (Her name is [name_u]Abby[/name_u],the reason for me trying to find an [name_m]AB[/name_m] name)but it could work :’) I could always call her [name_f]Bea[/name_f] as a nickname when talking to my friend too!
Thanks ziggy2112,
I like the uniquity of those names! XD
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] is not technically An A And then A B name (I’m confusing myself as I write this,so,to sum up, an [name_m]Ab[/name_m] name),I still think that name is really cute :o
Thanks a bunches
[name_m]Abel[/name_m] is sometimes used as a girls name in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u] and Norway, and often used as a nickname for Abela.
Or there’s: [name_f]Abelle[/name_f], [name_f]Abelone[/name_f], Abelke, Abelu, [name_m]Abelard[/name_m], Ablu, Ablun, [name_f]Abria[/name_f], Abbing, Abelen, Abney, Abaly, Abbath, Abath, Abry, Abberley, [name_u]Aberdeen[/name_u], Aberday, Aberly, Abla, Abraira, Abrera, Abris, Abrys, Absley.
You could try a different spelling of [name_u]Abby[/name_u]. [name_f]Abbi[/name_f] and [name_u]Abi[/name_u] are 90s tomboy, [name_u]Abbie[/name_u] is sweet vintage, and [name_u]Abbey[/name_u] references the surname, the religious term, and many streets and places.
Abry and Abrey are surnames with various sources/derivations. From most of them I would assume the [name_m]AB[/name_m]-ree pronounciation. This is the only pronounciation I have found people using in youtube videos etc.
However one possible source is “son of Abrahee” assumed to be related to [name_m]Abraham[/name_m], so I think the AY-bree pronounciation could be considered correct too. Another possible source is via [name_u]Aubry[/name_u], so maybe you could make a case for [name_m]AH[/name_m]-bree. Not AW-bree though I think, since they are distinct names.
