A nickname for Grace

Ok, so [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is my all time favorite name. It’s short, girly, vintage, cute and classy. My only concern with [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is that I can’t find a perfect nickname for [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I kinda like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] but it’s not something I love.

What other [name_f]Grace[/name_f] nicknames can you think of?

The only other nickname I can really think of is [name_u]Gray[/name_u], or maybe [name_f]CeCe[/name_f].

I don’t really get why [name_f]Grace[/name_f] needs a nickname. It’s as short as it can get. Maybe you should just count on a future daughter acquiring a pet name, like Chichi, Bubbles, [name_u]Scout[/name_u], Mishkin, etc. Or I guess you could dissect the name [name_f]Grace[/name_f] for a nickname, like G, [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], [name_m]Ace[/name_m], [name_u]Ray[/name_u], [name_u]Gray[/name_u]. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t get me wrong, I love nicknames but it seems a little silly for a one syllable name.

I immediately think “[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]”–which is funny as a nickname b/c it’s actually longer than [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but very very cute.

I think [name_u]Gray[/name_u] would be my favorite, although I like just simple [name_f]Grace[/name_f].

I call my friend Graceling, after the magical gifted people in the book of the same name by [name_f]Kristin[/name_f] Cashore.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is perfect, short, sweet, and elegant no need for a nickname. Your daughter could end up with a pet name but those develop naturally.

I thought the point of [name_f]Grace[/name_f] was that it was one of those names that doesn’t need a NN
