A patriotic name for our possible oops! baby?

TMI, but DH and I had a big “Oops” moment last night on Memorial [name]Day[/name] and that got us thinking would we name a potential baby with a patriotic American name to mark the occasion or is that cheesy? [name]Just[/name] in fun we came up with [name]Liberty[/name] and [name]George[/name] ([name]Washington[/name]) and were stumped for more. So thought I would bring it to the experts. What patriotic names can you think of that would got with sib set of [name]Annabelle[/name] and [name]Luke[/name]? We would like to add a third child to our family if not now, in the next two years so I will also take suggestions for non-patriotic names too that would fit my sib set. No rules so just throw some out at me. Thanks so much!

Patriotic:
G: [name]Betsy[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Glory[/name] (really quirky, but it’s cute), [name]Jacqueline[/name] (nn [name]Jackie[/name]), [name]Virginia[/name]
B: [name]Franklin[/name], [name]Jefferson[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Carter[/name], [name]Grant[/name], [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Jackson[/name], [name]Taylor[/name]

[name]Non[/name]-Patriotic:
G: [name]Lillian[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Abigail[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Lila[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name]/[name]Emmaline[/name]
B: [name]Maxwell[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Silas[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Noah[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Jack[/name]

I can only think of one, but [name]Ephraim[/name] nn [name]Free[/name]?

I agree with all of these plus [name]Felicity[/name]

[name]Lilac[/name], thanks for the great lists! Loving them both and your kiddos names as well! [name]How[/name] did you become such a professional namer?? BTW, your twinkies are due on my birthday! good luck with everything…

I love all your non patriotic ones…can’t use [name]Carter[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Grant[/name] or [name]Jackson[/name]. Know kids with all these names.

Merrybells We actually have a distant quirky cousin named [name]Ephraim[/name] nn Eph so that won’t work, but I have yet to meet another.

I do adore [name]Felicity[/name] too, but don’t really seeing it fitting our country family. Thanks for the contributions guys. Part of me is really hoping I might be pregnant soon, but the other freaks out about adding another child to my young brood of almost 3 and 17 months. [name]Don[/name]'t know how I could handle it. Any pointers [name]Lilac[/name]? Some of yours are really close…Beautiful name by the way. I have never met one before!

That’s frustrating! I don’t have any ideas, but good luck.
Someone had a post about [name]Liberty[/name] [name]Jean[/name] with plenty of discussion and suggestions, it is in the [name]Baby[/name] Names Forum or the Girls Names Forum.

I don’t know about being a professional namer…but maybe it’s because I’ve had a lot of practice? I just really love my name so I try to give my children names that they’ll love too. I’m glad you like the lists!
I think the greatest piece of advice I can give you is organization. It is so much easier to do things if everyone is on a schedule. [name]Both[/name] my husband and I have big families nearby and they’re all very helpful, which is great. Also, if you do add another child soon, ask for help if you need it! [name]Even[/name] if you just need a nap…I’ve done that before lol

Sadly, organization is something that still eludes me, even though I want it terribly. My therapist even told me I am not wired to be that way and probably never will, but I do try to work on it every day in hopes of one day getting there.

Our closest family (inlaws) is 2 hours away. I find it hard asking them to drive over and help me so I never do, and they have already been vocal about us not needing another child ( not that their opinion matters, but they think it does). They are always babysitting my brother in laws kids 2 or 3 days a week so they might be able to tell them they don’t need any more kids, but we are doing just fine on our own and have never relied on their assistance with raising our kids. We have discussed moving closer to my parents and that would be great and would make me a little more confident with adding another. I guess we will just have to wait and see what the [name]Lord[/name] has in store… Thanks so much for replying!
