We are not sure if we are having a boy or girl (and won’t find out!) but we are having SUCH a hard time with the boys side of things. We can’t seem to agree on much. Here are two possible contenders (with an older brother named [name]Wyatt[/name]).
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Milo[/name] - ([name]Jasper[/name] has been growing on me but I’m not totally sure and [name]Milo[/name] is one hubby likes and I vetoed as a first name but would consider as a middle).
or
[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name] - (I can’t seem to get either of these names out of my head, although I have some worries that [name]Hudson[/name] might be too “faddish”, I still really like the sound of it though. [name]Levi[/name] was always my first pick but hubby never cared for it much, he has however come around to conceding it as a possible middle name. I will admit that this name combo I like better but our last name starts with an “H” so I wonder if it would be too much alliteration.)
Which if these do you prefer? Or with different middle names?? Or?? Boys names drive me nuts…
I definitely love [name]Jasper[/name] with [name]Wyatt[/name]. They both have that classic Western feel and pair up very nicely. Maybe [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Levi[/name] would work for you both?
Of course, I adore [name]Jasper[/name]! (And I do love [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Milo[/name].) But with [name]Wyatt[/name], I do prefer [name]Hudson[/name]. I love the combo [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name].
Such great combos you have.
I Prefer [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name] WAYYY over [name]Jasper[/name]. I dont think there is anything wrong with the initials being H.H …I think using that as a deciding factor is looking waaaay to much into it. Personally, I think [name]Jasper[/name] is actually more “faddish” and sounds much more like a dogs name ( I work at a Vet clinic and hear [name]Jasper[/name] a lot for dogs).
I do really like the Western feel of your baby names =)
Here are some more baby boy name suggestions that may go with your western trend!
Wow, I definitely understand why you’re so undecided - these are both GREAT choices! I love [name]Wyatt[/name], by the way. [name]Hudson[/name] is a little “faddy,” but I don’t think it’s taken off quite yet so I think you’re still safe. I love the sound of both of these combinations, but it sounds like you’re wanting [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name]. There’s nothing wrong with alliteration names. I know many people whose first and last name start with the same letter and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now, if it were [name]Hudson[/name] Hunderson or something, that’s a little too much. If it’s simply the first letter is the same, I think you’re in the clear!
Hmm…
I personally love both.
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Milo[/name], is a handsome classic very vintage and gentlemanly in sound. [name]Jasper[/name] is a handsome classic that has grown on me so much. I used to dislike [name]Jasper[/name] but now that I’m older the name feels really perfect. I also love the nickname ‘[name]Jas[/name]’. I think [name]Milo[/name] is a great spunky name that sounds stunning with [name]Jasper[/name]. However I don’t know whether [name]Jasper[/name] works with [name]Wyatt[/name]. [name]Wyatt[/name] feels so southern and cowboy whereas [name]Jasper[/name] is the polar opposite of that vibe.
[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name] is a great choice especially with brother [name]Wyatt[/name]. [name]Hudson[/name] is a great masculine choice that feels crisp and collective. [name]Hudson[/name] is so cool and I don’t think he’s faddish because like with [name]Wyatt[/name] he’s been hanging around for longer than names like [name]Bentley[/name]. [name]Hudson[/name] feels old fashioned, southern and cowboy just like [name]Wyatt[/name]. [name]Levi[/name] is my favourite boy’s name ever. I have loved [name]Levi[/name] for so long. [name]Levi[/name] is so handsome and gorgeous. [name]Levi[/name] sounds brilliant with [name]Hudson[/name] in the middle name slot. [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name] is so cool. Concerning the alliteration it depends how your surname sounds for instance if your surname is ‘[name]Hughes[/name]’ I think that works but if your surname is Hansley that sounds strange - if that makes sense.
I think with [name]Wyatt[/name], [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name] is the best choice
Thank you all! saraares, I do also like the name [name]Everett[/name], but hubby does not and I’m not sure it goes as well with [name]Wyatt[/name] as the others…
Although I like the name [name]Jaspar[/name] better, with [name]Wyatt[/name], I’d pick [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Levi[/name]-- they both have more of the western/cowboy sense.
I really like [name]Jasper[/name] but think [name]Hudson[/name] is better with [name]Wyatt[/name].
Some others for you to consider
[name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Dexter[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Sawyer[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Beau[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name] and [name]Deacon[/name]
I’m glad you all get the “western” feel we like! And avalon27, I do like all of those except [name]Beau[/name]. I just prefer the two syllable names. The other three were actually all on my list, but vetoed…[name]Sawyer[/name] was my favorite of them all!
I really like both. [name]Jasper[/name] gets a lot of love on nameberry so I’m going to pick [name]Hudson[/name]. avalon27’s suggestions of [name]Dexter[/name] and [name]Deacon[/name] would both be lovely with [name]Wyatt[/name].
If you think [name]Hudson[/name] may be a little “faddish,” how about Hutton? I really like both combos, but I’m not sure [name]Jasper[/name] goes well with big brother, [name]Wyatt[/name]. I think Hutton and [name]Wyatt[/name] would be a great combo. And Hutton [name]Levi[/name] is a great name, in my opinion! Hutton [name]Levi[/name] even sounds nice.
I love [name]Jasper[/name]! Although I like [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Levi[/name] better that [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Milo[/name] (but [name]Levi[/name] is my favorite boys name so I might be biased.) [name]Hudson[/name] is an awesome name, but I dont get the cowboy feel from it as much as I do from [name]Wyatt[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Holden[/name]? [name]Holden[/name] [name]Levi[/name] sounds great and I like it better with [name]Wyatt[/name]. I also like alliteration so I don’t think that is a problem
Thanks guys! Not sure I like the feel of Hutton as much and though I do love [name]Holden[/name], we are not in agreement over here on that…lol! But I agree both names sound good with [name]Levi[/name] as the middle!
