I really love the name [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but is this too plain? Other names that I like are [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. What do you think? Go for [name_f]Emily[/name_f], or keep looking?

[name_f]Emily[/name_f] is common, but that doesn’t have to mean it’s plain. That would be just an opinion anyway.
I think it has a similar to style to [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. If you like [name_f]Emily[/name_f] the best, use it.

Aw, thank you all for the [name_f]Emily[/name_f] love! [name_f]My[/name_f] name is super uncommon, which I like, so that has made me hesitant to go with a really common girl name. Although, there are tons of Clara’s nowadays and that doesn’t bother me! [name_f]Emily[/name_f] was an option with my first girl too, but didn’t seem like the right time to use it. Maybe that time is now

And if not, [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] are both equally perfect. You have wonderful taste in names.

I have to agree with @Ehrob1 I’m kind of obsessed with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] as a sibset. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] sounds very nice too, I just find [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] a little more glam and interesting while remaining a classic

I’d say, you should keep [name_f]Emily[/name_f] on your list as #1, but keep looking around to see if there’s another you like more

[name_f]Emily[/name_f] is definitely common, but you love it, and that’s what makes it ‘not plain’. Plus, all Emilys eventually carve out their own identity that sets them apart, common name or not.
