[name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would be lovely. I like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] also but it doesn’t sound as good with [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is my favourite with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] (and I did vote for it) however [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] doesn’t exactly work :(.
My second choice would be [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] just feels too stylistically different in my opinion.
Here’s a few suggestions based on these three names and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] as the middle name:
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Amira[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Sonia[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Lila[/name_f] (similar to [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but I feel it flows better)
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] would also be pretty :))
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
My favourite is [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] :).
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and
I love [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]/[name_u]Simone[/name_u] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would also be beautiful
I love all 3 names you listed but I think [name_f]Serena[/name_f] goes best with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and also sounds great with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f].
I really love the name [name_f]Serena[/name_f] so I voted for it, but I also think [name_f]Cora[/name_f] would sound marvelous with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]! [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is gorgeous.
I like those three, but if you really want a Hebrew name there are plenty of mainstream ones.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Joanna[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Rayna[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]
I really love [name_f]Serena[/name_f] with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. They’re both sweet, feminine, and give off vibes of a stylish, artsy girl to me. I like that they both have Italian roots without being as obvious as, say, [name_f]Chiara[/name_f]. It’s familiar enough that it feels mainstream for your husband, but used little enough she probably won’t meet many other Serenas. It’s one of those names, I think, that feels a lot more common than its popularity suggests.
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] are lovely, but are heard a lot more often (or [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] at least, if not [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]), so feel a bit too common next to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] for me!
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] would be a lovely, delicate name, but I also like [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] as a combination if you’d consider that. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would be beautiful also (but maybe a bit too “romantic” with [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!)
The more I look at these names, the less any of them feel like the right choice for this baby. Of the three, I like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] best, but I do want to use an L name to honor a family member and would prefer it in the middle name position. I recognize the [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] doesnt flow as well as [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] does, but I also know people rarely say their full names so I am trying not get hung up on it. I like all three names, but [name_f]Serena[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] don’t feel like the right fit.
I’ve also considered:
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]- husband isnt into it, but I probably could convince him. I would prefer he likes the name from the start though
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]- I worry that if she chooses to go by [name_f]Anna[/name_f] it will be too close in sound to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Anabelle[/name_f]- same concernas above
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]: not sure it works with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Serafina[/name_f]- same sound as [name_f]Serena[/name_f], but more appropriate for a Jewish baby. My husband said he’d never heard if it and he feels like it is made up. I also worry that is is too big of a name for a little girl.
[name_f]Sarina[/name_f]: a dimunitive of [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], hebrew and sounds like [name_f]Serena[/name_f]. I would be concerned about people assuming I just wanted to have a unique spelling of [name_f]Serena[/name_f].
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] &[name_f]Stella[/name_f] were my top two choices but they will be used by another family member for their twins (they didnt know I wanted them, pure coincidence)
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]- love it but used by a friend
Given this insight, do you have any other suggestions?
I don’t feel put off by popular names in general, I just want to love it and have it work.
