Elena Stephanie - wishes every restaurant gave out paper crowns like fast food restaurants, different plastic tiaras to match her outfits, plays pirates with the boys on the playground because they think she wants to play the princess—she does, but not in the way they think (she kicks their butts), loves sushi and olives and other “grown up” foods, JoJo bows, sequins and rhinestones and glitter (and she knows the difference), the one on the side of the stage at dance performances screaming for the other girls

Eugene Warren - band geek—drum line on the football field and drum sets at home, he wears purple earplugs but his neighbors aren’t so prepared, always looks like he needs a haircut, wears it back with bandanas, you know you have his attention when he takes his headphones out, class clown, one of the only people in the world who can actually pull off a man-bun, says his idol is AC/DC but he secretly loves Ed Sheeran as well, stole his sister’s rainbow umbrella one day out of desperation but now uses it unironically because someone tried to call it “gay” in a derogatory way

Juneau Arcturus - was reading The Lord of the Rings while his peers read Harry Potter, tried to read Game of Thrones but the school librarian stopped him just in time, loves jewelry making, melts crayons so he can personally wax stamp the envelopes when he sends snail mail because he hates the taste but stickers aren’t extra enough, wears blue and shirts about saving various sea life creatures, refuses to use straws unless they’re bamboo and plastic water bottles, color-coordinated sticker collages on his laptop—green this time
