We have two sons : [name]Zachary[/name] and [name]Ezechiel[/name] and we are expecting a third boy.
We are considering [name]Abraham[/name] or [name]Ephraim[/name]. What do you think of those names and what other ideas would you suggest for our new baby boy.
hi, I like [name]Abraham[/name] best of the two (love [name]Abe[/name] as a nickname!) and think it works well with your other names!
Other suggestions: [name]Silas[/name], [name]Isaiah[/name]. Also, [name]Hezekiah[/name]?
All the best!
[name]Isaiah[/name] was on our short list for number two but we went for [name]Ezechiel[/name] who is nicknamed [name]Izzy[/name] so it would be to close to [name]Isaiah[/name]. :?
[name]Hezekiah[/name] : it doesn’t work for us as we are french and the pronunciation would be to close to [name]Ezechiel[/name]. :?
[name]Solomon[/name] : not fan
[name]Micah[/name] sounds more like a nickname to me
[name]Gideon[/name] : we love it but in [name]France[/name] people would say Je-da-on
We don’t live in [name]France[/name] right now but we could in the future and our families are there so we have to pick carrefully!
It’s so difficult to find the right name! :?: :?: :?:
I love [name]Abraham[/name]! I have only met one [name]Abraham[/name] in my entire life and I think it is a shame there aren’t more little [name]Abraham[/name]'s running around. [name]Abe[/name] is a great nickname, too, if you are likely to shorten it.
I prefer [name]Abraham[/name] I suppose, but both names are a little stern for me. The [name]France[/name]/US thing is tricky! Other ideas: [name]Josiah[/name], [name]Jonah[/name], [name]Ezra[/name] (continues your z thing), [name]Judah[/name], [name]Elijah[/name].
You are the first person I’ve found that’s considered [name]Ephraim[/name]!
I love the idea of [name]Ephraim[/name] on a boy, so distinguished. No one
ever shares my love of it though. [name]Abraham[/name] is decent. It just
instantly reminds me of pigs. With the word ham in there and
all. I don’t like the nickname [name]Abe[/name] either.
I really like [name]Abraham[/name] but my husband doesn’t. I think that “[name]Bram[/name]” is a strong nickname. [name]Ephraim[/name] is a bit harder to pronounce if you’re not familiar with the name (if that is a deterrent at all).
