It’s okay to me, but then [name]Lindsay[/name] is somewhat of a unisex name too.
hate hate hate. I’m sorry but since that’s my last name, I can barely get my head around it being a legitimate boy name. For a girl … my only thoughts are just whhhyyyyyyyy … ??? I like girl names with boyish nicknames. [name]SAMantha[/name], [name]CHRIStine[/name], TOMisina. [name]Max[/name] could work for a girl I guess but only if short for [name]Maxine[/name]. Lol, what a traditionalist I’ve become!

I find the trend of giving girls traditional boys names quite depressing. [name]Maxwell[/name] is not cool.
Seriously, they couldn’t even give her a girly middle name to balance out [name]Maxwell[/name]? [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Lue[/name] sounds like they were expecting a boy and surprise! had a girl instead. I bet she’ll get tired of accidentally getting phone calls for “Mr.” [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Sloane[/name] and “Oh, when I saw your name I thought you were a boy!” comments real quick.
If I ever met a little girl named [name]Maxwell[/name] in real life I don’t think I could resist the urge to facepalm right in front of the parents. Honestly.
I hate it. Not the names on their own for a girl, but two masculin names for a girl. I enjoy the idea of Maxwel for a gir and [name]Lue[/name] for a middle name or first even, just hate them both together. It seems like they are trying too hard.

I saw someone post about this on another site I belong to and she actually thought it was CUTE. I think I barfed a little.

I don’t think its good for girls… You can go with maxxey and [name]Maxine[/name] , both are goos in my view.
