wow. i really love your names (i see you have an emerson bear). i love how you pair a name more well-known with a “nature name”. so unique yet not over the top! i’m a fan. based on all i’ve said, i think both would be great names! if i had to pick, i lean toward wren!
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] for me! I’m not really a fan of [name_f]Ada[/name_f], sorry, although I love a lot of [name_f]Addy[/name_f] names (some of which have [name_f]Ada[/name_f] built right into them, like [name_f]Adaya[/name_f]). [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I don’t love [name_f]Ada[/name_f], Wildflower goes with it perfectly. If I did love [name_f]Ada[/name_f], I think I’d adore [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower! As it is, I’m a massive fan of [name_u]Wren[/name_u], and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is my favorite girls’ name, and I love [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] quite a lot, too. I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is dainty and spunky and feminine and literary and fun and sporty. [name_m]Just[/name_m] the best of everything! I could see a little [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] with her head buried in a [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] novel or tearing up a soccer field, or stealing the show with a ballet performance, and anything in between.
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower just has such a free-spirited feel to me, I can’t help but pick it. It just has that extra spark that I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] lacks. Perhaps it’s the unusual middle name, but I think it works beautifully and overall, a gorgeous combo.
I chose [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. It’s absolutely stunning.
To me, using Wildflower with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] makes [name_f]Ada[/name_f] seem even more plain. While it’s on the lovelier side of serviceable vintage names, it still pales in comparison to the bold beauty of Wildfower, and it’s also too short, imo, to have such a substantial middle. Maybe a more intriguing 3-letter name would suit Wildflower, like [name_f]Clio[/name_f] or [name_u]Bay[/name_u] (in the water sense, not the herbal sense). [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] would be a great choice. Fairybell is interesting, but it doesn’t strike me as a nature name. What about [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] or [name_f]Flower[/name_f]? [name_f]Russet[/name_f] or [name_f]Tansy[/name_f]? While [name_f]Flora[/name_f] doesn’t flow (imo), [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would be a nice option, and [name_u]Florentine[/name_u]/[name_f]Florentina[/name_f], though long, fits alright, too, because it’s a vintage name like [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. Phlox is a cool name! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it’s quite short it’s very spunky and I like it best with [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. Other short ones I like with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] are [name_f]Fleur[/name_f], [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] (I think [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] would be a very sweet middle when you have an [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]!) and even [name_f]Fauna[/name_f] is cool, though it lilts with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] a bit too much for me.
Suggestions:
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Flower[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Russet[/name_f]

[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Florentine[/name_u]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Florentina[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Fawn[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Fauna[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u] (sounds like a double barreled first, pretty cool)
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
Wow thankyou for the thoughtful replies everyone! I really do love both names but [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is still my favorite I think for now
I do like the suggestion of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u]! I would maybe have to add another middle since they are both short 1 syb names. Also liking [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f]! I am also happy people seem to like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], even my husband is coming around to it
Oh wow, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower is stunning! [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is nice, too. I suppose a compromise ([name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], maybe) has been ruled out?
Some outside the box, nature-y middle ideas:
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Buttercup[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Catkin
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Chrysanthemum[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Nettle
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Tamarind[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f]
I like both names, but [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a favorite. While Wildflower goes well with [name_f]Ada[/name_f], it seems more generic, and I would prefer a particular flower. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u] is nice, but here are a couple more-
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Jonquil[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Verbena[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Lobelia
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Trillium
Both are so stunning imo but my final choice is [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower. Although to be honest, with [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_m]Bear[/name_m], I think [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] goes beautifully. Ugh sorry Iam a big help here. Good luck!
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower! That’s it!
I much prefer [name_f]Ada[/name_f] over [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. So, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] gets my vote!
Hello!
I must confess, I’ve been going through your threads because I’m just totally in love with your naming style I think both options are stunning, but I’m pretty burnt out on [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] at this point. [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower conjures such a vibrant image of a girl with a mess of hair crouched on a hill doused in afternoon sunlight. I really love it! And [name_u]Wren[/name_u] has a calm, cool, collected strength to it.
Other thoughts:
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Cerise[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildrose
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Aster[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Posey[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Orchid[/name_f]
I look forward to hearing what y’all decide on!
Wildflower is absolutely stunning but how often are you going to use a middle name really? Most likely she’ll be called plain [name_f]Ada[/name_f] most of the time and if plain [name_f]Ada[/name_f] lacks that spark for you, I personally wouldn’t go for it. So I vote [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]! I know a [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and she’s beautiful and wears it so well And I just love [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], it’s so beautiful even though it is very popular now.
Also, is [name_f]Aria[/name_f] not in the running anymore? I’d looove [name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_f]Aria[/name_f] Wildflower.
While I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Ada[/name_f], I can’t help but voting for her because [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower sound absolutely gorgeous! I’m glad to see someone’s considering to use Wildflower. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is pretty, but it lacks the spirit [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower obviously has.
I love both of these names… I voted [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] because I really love [name_u]Wren[/name_u] but [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower is also so pretty! I adore Wildflower as a middle name! They’re both such pretty and free-spirited names!
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower is so pretty!
Yes I do remember [name_f]Isabeau[/name_f] Wildflower! Someone suggested [name_f]Emma[/name_f] Wildflower which I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] but I have and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] already, plus popularity of [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
@Brianerose thankyou! I find my favorite names change often but my style stays fairly consistent.
[name_m]Even[/name_m] though I really dislike [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], I voted [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] - It flows well and I like [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I wanted to vote for [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower but it sounds like the name of a nature conservation charity “Aid a [name_m]Wild[/name_m] flower”. Individually I like each of the names.
Yes and there is also the [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower Preserve association. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a better mn suggestion for [name_u]Wren[/name_u] besides [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]? I am all ears I love the femininity and flow of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] with [name_u]Wren[/name_u].
I voted for [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Wildflower for its classic-spunky blend! Noticing your like for [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] and [name_f]Briar[/name_f] in your signature, I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] Bramble (swoon) work well for you!
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] alternatives to pair with [name_u]Wren[/name_u]: [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], [name_f]Isabeau[/name_f], [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Heloise[/name_f], [name_f]Elora[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelie[/name_f], Margeurite.
