Ada?

I feel in love with the name [name]Ada[/name] when i was younger. If I ever use it it’ll probably end up being a middle name, I just worried [name]Ada[/name] isn’t enough. Opinions?

I actually think [name]Ada[/name] has enough substance for a first name. Most definitely, considering the popular names [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Eva[/name]. [name]Ada[/name] is a great alternative.

I love the name [name]Ada[/name]! I think it works fine a full FN or as a NN for [name]Adelaide[/name] or [name]Adele[/name]

I adore [name]Ada[/name]. This is one of the few exceptions where I think it has enough substance for a first name. It has the same air about it as [name]Cora[/name] which I absolutely adore. Very old-fashioned and sweet little girl-ish but can easily be used without seeming too ‘old’. My great great grandmother was named [name]Ada[/name] [name]May[/name] which I think is absolutely stunning.

I like [name]Ada[/name] as a standalone name. I prefer it to all the [name]Eva[/name]/[name]Ava[/name] names. I don’t like [name]Adelaide[/name] or [name]Adele[/name], personally.

[name]Ada[/name], [name]Lila[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Amy[/name], etc. all appeal to me - names don’t have to be long to be complete, and also very feminine. And I generally don’t like nickname names and I’m still saying that.

I adore [name]Ada[/name]! I sometimes think to make it a bit fuller it would be nice to add ‘h’ at the end, but then I see [name]Adah[/name] and think, eegads, no! [name]Ada[/name] is so lovely, I think it can stand on its own.

I love it too, and I think it’s a great alternative to the over-popular [name]Ava[/name].

[name]Adah[/name] is a real name too but it’s not pronounced like [name]Ada[/name] usually is and also is a bit clunkier looking to me.

[name]Ada/name is darling!

[name]Ada[/name] is gorgeous! Why isn’t it strong enough to stand alone? [name]Ava[/name], [name]Mia[/name], [name]Ana[/name] are all short names that just fine as first names. I saw a little [name]Ada[/name] on House Hunters this weekend and thought “how refreshing”!

I love the name [name]Ada[/name]. It was my great grandma’s middle name and I thought about using it for our second girl’s middle name, but since we’re sticking with M first names, it would give both of our daughters the initials MAD

I like it! [name]Love[/name] the suggestion above of [name]Ada[/name] [name]May[/name]

[name]Ada[/name] is gorgeous! I don’t like the look of [name]Adah[/name] though.

I also really like [name]Ada[/name]!! So cute!

Yeah I would never spell it [name]Adah[/name] its not my style at all; but thank you all! I’ll keep it on my list
