Warning for murder by shooting (not graphic).
It’s a call from the police, saying Timothee’s been arrested for murder. Ashley’s first reaction, “Whaaaaat?” She asks if [name_f]Amalita[/name_f] was involved. The police say most likely not unless they find evidence, whereas they did find witnesses saying [name_m]Timothée[/name_m] left a dead body. [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] stated that [name_m]Timothée[/name_m] didn’t have any flamethrowers or other weapons of fire, so he couldn’t be tied to the house fire. The police state the house fire wasn’t tied to the death, the victim died from a gunshot wound. [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] asks if [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] had anything to do with the evidence and the police state [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] is the murder victim. Why would [name_m]Timothée[/name_m] shoot [name_m]Pablo[/name_m]? While [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] was friends with [name_m]Timothee[/name_m], it was quite concerning how much he knew from spying. Did [name_m]Timothee[/name_m] turn on [name_m]Pablo[/name_m]? Did [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] turn on [name_m]Timothee[/name_m] and [name_m]Timothee[/name_m] snapped? [name_u]Ashley[/name_u] never liked [name_m]Pablo[/name_m], could [name_m]Timothee[/name_m] have killed him to save his relationship with [name_u]Ashley[/name_u]?
However - not so fast. During a police search, [name_m]Timothee[/name_m] had no guns; not on his body, not in his apartment, not in his car. It’s possible he may have hid the gun but it’s inconsistent with other forensic details. [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] died outside and by the way of the bullet and wound, it seemed as if he was actually sniped from a far distance. [name_m]Timothee[/name_m] may have heard the shot and ran away in fear of wherever the gunshot came from. It’s unknown who would snipe [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] and [name_m]Pablo[/name_m] himself had no last words before dying.
[name_m]Timothee[/name_m] plead not guilty to the murder of his friend and stood trial. What was the result?
A: Guilty; correct conviction
B: Guilty; wrongful conviction
C: Not Guilty; correct conviction
D: Not Guilty; wrongful conviction
