Hello Berries!

So I’ve been on here for a while collecting names and I’ve had two favorites for a long time:

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]

My husband likes them too and we have talked about using them before. I just found out that I am pregnant and now I had a mini freak-out about our favorite names since it seems way more real now! I have a few questions that I need your help with:

  1. What are your opinions of these names?
  2. What possible nicknames could you imagine for these?
  3. What are some other similar names to these that you might suggest?

I love both of these names. They feel classic and fresh at the same time. Both have plenty of nn opportunities.

I think I’m stuck on a nn for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] – I think I want to avoid the [name_f]Addy[/name_f] one since there are a bunch of Addisons in this area… I’m not sold on one yet. I think I like [name_m]Baz[/name_m] for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]…

I love [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]! [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] has never been my style, but I still think it’s a lovely name. My favorite nicknames for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] are [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] or [name_f]Laidy[/name_f] which both work great if you’re trying to avoid [name_f]Addie[/name_f]. I do like [name_f]Ada[/name_f] a lot also though, which isn’t quite [name_f]Addie[/name_f], but may be too close for your liking.
