Adopting a baby girl from China!

Congrats! You must be super excited, and I think you keeping her middle name is a wonderful way to keep her connection to her birth place. I love [name]Lily[/name], but I automatically thought of the asian [name]Lily[/name] on modern family as well. It may not be that bad, as the pp said it is very common. I like [name]Rose[/name] [name]Paxton[/name] a lot, not as much as [name]Lily[/name] [name]Paxton[/name] though. I don’t like [name]Lavender[/name], however. I do like [name]Daisy[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. What about [name]Calla[/name]? I love [name]Calla[/name], and it’s soft and sweet, like your going for. [name]Callie[/name] is adorable as a nn.

Congrats! That is so amazing and I can only imagine how happy and blessed you feel!
I really love [name]Rose[/name]! It has a lot of special meaning to you and [name]Rose[/name] Xiu Ying [name]Paxton[/name] sounds lovely!
[name]Lily[/name] is so cute and pretty, but so popular! And there’s the [name]Lily[/name] on Modern Family as well as the adopted [name]Lily[/name] from Sex in the City. I’d say it’s a bit overdone for beautiful little Chinese girls.
[name]Lavender[/name] just doesn’t feel like a name to me, and [name]Lotus[/name] is a little too out there.

Good luck bringing your daughter home safely!

Congrats!!!

I think [name]Lily[/name] Xiu Ying [name]Paxton[/name] is a PERFECT combination. If you called her [name]Lily[/name] Xiu, it would be really cute. You’d call her a beautiful lily.

My niece’s name is [name]Lilly[/name] and her middle name is a Japanese surname - Himura. [name]Lilly[/name] fits her so well.

[name]Linnea[/name] is soft and pretty and a nice alternative to [name]Lily[/name]. It means twinflower. Googleimage!

Im not sure if my post didnt work or what but I love [name]Lily[/name] and think [name]Lillian[/name] is a good full name if [name]Lily[/name] is too popular, I would also like to suggest [name]Julia[/name] (I know two chinese-americans named this so maybe its a cultural thing or coincidence but its lovely!) and [name]Miriam[/name] which is a beautiful sweet name and some say it means “bitterly wished for” and the I think the “wished for” works well for adoption.

Sorry if my other comment went through and this is repetitive info!
