Hey Berries!
I need a bit of help with my baby girls name, ive still got a bit to go but im really struglling with her name.
With our boys (twins) there names just seemed to come so easily, [name_m]Koa[/name_m] (Makoa) was the middle name of my grandfather and Kaeo is from [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (dh’s brothers) while also being a hawaiian name meaning strong. With girl names we dont have any family inspiration so we’ve decided to pick just a few to see what people think. Please could we have your honest opinions on them as we really are quite desperate  !
Thanks Berries!
A
[name_f]Aelani[/name_f] / [name_f]Ailani[/name_f] means chief
[name_f]Leilani[/name_f] means [name_f]Heavenly[/name_f] [name_f]Flower[/name_f]
[name_u]Kalani[/name_u] means [name_f]Heaven[/name_f]
First off, I love your boys names! For your daughter, of the names you’ve suggested, I like [name_f]Ailani[/name_f] and [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] best. [name_f]Leilani[/name_f] is beautiful, but its also the very first Hawaiian name I think of.
[name_f]Noelani[/name_f] - love this
[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] - Too similar to [name_m]Koa[/name_m] and Kaeo?
[name_f]Kaila[/name_f]
[name_f]Naia[/name_f]
Keilani
[name_f]Iolana[/name_f]
[name_f]Kameo[/name_f]
Kamea
[name_f]Oliana[/name_f] - love
Mililani - nn [name_f]Milli[/name_f]?
There are so many great K names, I can’t skip them completely.
[name_f]Kiana[/name_f]
Kione
Kaholani
Kanoa
I also really love names that include the i’i as in [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m] and Aulii, but their names are rare enough that I don’t want to post them on the internet…
My favorite is [name_u]Kalani[/name_u]! It’s a nice link between her siblings and her, plus nickname [name_f]Kallie[/name_f] is adorable. Though if you are to have more kids you’d be forcing yourself to use another K name.
I also love the previous posters’ suggestions, especially [name_f]Iolana[/name_f], [name_f]Malu[/name_f], [name_f]Noelani[/name_f], [name_f]Oliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Naia[/name_f]. If I had to pick only one name (including [name_u]Kalani[/name_u]) I’d go for [name_f]Malu[/name_f], it’s short like her brothers’ names but distinctive enough and it just has a very pleasant sound.
