I think it’s super pretty! At least where I live, the ï is difficult to use, so I would probably go with [name_f]Alaia[/name_f] myself, but either way it’s lovely.

I do enjoy [name_f]Alaia[/name_f] but I don’t think I’d use it because there’s a bit of me that reminds me of ‘a liar’

I think [name_f]Alaïa[/name_f] is very nice but it’s not a name I would use myself. I don’t have problems with the ï and it doesn’t remind me of ‘a liar’, like previous posters pointed out. I would assume [name_f]Alaïa[/name_f] is pronounced like ah-lah-ee-ah.

I really like this name! I think it’s really pretty! I’m not a fan of the spelling however. I have a friend named [name_u]Elia[/name_u] (pronounced the same way).

Is the diaeresis mark (ï) intended to split up the -ai- into 2 syllables like al-a-EE-a?

I know an [name_f]Alaia[/name_f], and I think it’s a beautiful name. I love the meaning. (She pronounces it [name_m]Ah[/name_m] - lay - uh)
