[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries, do you think [name_f]Annie[/name_f] could be the nickname for [name_f]Alana[/name_f]. I usually only like obvious / intuitive nicknames but I love the name [name_f]Alana[/name_f] but not so sure about [name_f]Lani[/name_f]. To me [name_f]Lani[/name_f] sounds very American and we’re British.
Same question for the name [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]?
(I like the nn to start with the same letter as the full name!)

Alana nn Annie definitely makes sense! Marigold nn Maggie is more of a stretch, but i think it could work
