Aldric, Clancy and more, what goes with Robert?

My friend and I were discussing good mn’s for [name]Robert[/name], do any of these fit the bill? The last name sounds similar to [name]Donal[/name] (like the guy on the Practice!) but starts with another letter.

[name]Aldric[/name] (I like this a lot!)
[name]Francis[/name]
[name]Yves[/name] (maybe as a compound middle?)
[name]Amaury[/name]
[name]Auguste[/name]
[name]Augustus[/name]
[name]Augustin[/name]
Emeric
[name]Honore[/name] (I can’t type the accent on -phone i would describe it as “on-or ay” but I’m sure someone else could do better)
[name]Kelly[/name]
[name]Clancy[/name]
[name]Tiernan[/name]
[name]Ambrose[/name]
[name]Ulysses[/name] (is this too civil war sounding?)

Also just throwing out a cool name I recently saw but I wouldn’t use for this… Vespasien!

Here are the ones I think go with [name]Robert[/name] as a middle name:

[name]Augustus[/name]
[name]Augustin[/name]
Emeric
[name]Kelly[/name]
[name]Ambrose[/name]
[name]Ulysses[/name] – I don’t think it’s too Civil War. [name]Ulysses[/name] is a Latin form of [name]Odysseus[/name] as far as I’m aware so I would connect it to Greek/[name]Roman[/name] mythology. I love it!

Thanks for the reassurance about [name]Ulysses[/name]!

Vespasienne is the name for a public toilet in French. I know it is kind of old fashioned these days, I do like Vespasien, but unfortunately, I can’t shake that association.

W/[name]Robert[/name], I like:

[name]Aldric[/name]
[name]Francis[/name]
[name]Yves[/name]
[name]Amaury[/name]
[name]Auguste[/name]
[name]Augustus[/name]
[name]Augustin[/name]
[name]Honore[/name]-love this one
[name]Kelly[/name]
[name]Clancy[/name]
[name]Ambrose[/name]
[name]Ulysses[/name] (is this too civil war sounding?)

That’s so wierd I’ve never heard Vespasien and I’ve livedover there but I’d never seen the word before. Usually when I don’t know words that everyone else does its something in [name]Texas[/name], I was born here and lived here off and on but I never knew the town of bogota was pronounced like “buh go tah” until a month ago . I also didn’t know a billfold was a wallet

I think this word is unfamiliar because I’m too young to remember these

Going to lock this thread due to a pm I received, thanks for the name replies though
