Alessandra with the nn Sasha?

So if you didn’t already know, the name [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is a pet form of [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is the Italian variant of [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] so I was wondering if it would be too much of a reach to have the nickname [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] with [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] as well?

I love the name [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] to death and would love to use it on its own but I have the most unfortunate trait of having to have everything… “complete” if you know what I mean?

And if you are wondering why I am choosing [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] over [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] it’s because I have an Italian surname and again… that “need to have everything match” feeling is keeping me from using [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].

[name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is gorgeous and [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] works really well as her nickname. I think you have a winner!

I don’t think it’s weird at all! I had a good friend named [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] who went by [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] and everyone thought it was the sweetest nickname on her.
