I vastly prefer [name_f]Alexa[/name_f].
[name_u]Alexis[/name_u] was the popular fake-but-plausible-sounding (i.e. not [name_f]Candy[/name_f]) name for prostitutes to give when I was growing up, and I can’t shake that image. I like [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] and I like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] but [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] has a very hard bad girl edge like [name_u]Dominique[/name_u] to me.
I don’t mind [name_f]Alice[/name_f] though, if you need the -s/-ce ending for flow?
One syllable middles I like with [name_f]Alexa[/name_f]:
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
I actually don’t have a strong opinion! I like both equally the same. I would yell them out if I was you and see what one runs off your tongue the easiest!
I slightly prefer [name_f]Alexa[/name_f].
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Paige[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]
Depends on the middle name. I love [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and [name_u]Alix[/name_u], then…[name_f]Alexa[/name_f]/[name_u]Alexis[/name_u].
I prefer [name_f]Alexa[/name_f], mainly because I hear “a [name_u]Lexus[/name_u]” with the other. I also think [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] flows better with more surnames and middles.
I like [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] more. I think it rolls of the tongue easier and just sounds better.
My name is [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] and I prefer it to [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] by far. Getting called [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] has always kinda annoyed me. My middle name is [name_f]Lin[/name_f] but I was born in the 80s I have always really loved my name and always get complemented on how pretty it is if that helps.
I prefer [name_u]Alexis[/name_u]. To me, [name_f]Alexa[/name_f] sounds stuck up and snotty. [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] is cuter for me, and the cute nn [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] comes more naturally with the name [name_u]Alexis[/name_u].
