Alexavier?????

as title says…

made up, but not as horrible as some. Would be better if it had some family history for you.

I stumbled upon this today. thought i would see what others thought to me… its ok… has that unusual kick to it… without straying too far from the original i spose… x

I think it would cause people to have to do a double-look. At first I thought it just said [name]Alexander[/name]. I’m honestly not a huge fan of it. I think [name]Alexander[/name] is such a marvelous name, and this just kind of takes away the charm.

Why? [name]Aren[/name]'t [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] good enough?

God, that’s one of the worst smooshes I’ve ever heard. Up there with [name]Jayden[/name].

lol, I should have known this would get the Berries’ tail feather’s in a tizzy. It was huge on the first name site I ever joined… which was probably about four or five years ago. Everyone was always talking about how Alexavier/Alexzavier. I have been wondering why I didn’t really hear it at all sense. And mind you, these were people who loved [name]Aubrey[/name] for a boy, and [name]Anais[/name], and [name]Juliet[/name], and Madelief, and other unusual, lovely, quirky names. Alexavier sort of makes me feel nostalgic, because I loved that community before it tanked, but I am in agreement with the others–I like both [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] (especially [name]Xavier[/name]! I’m on a [name]Xavier[/name] kick at the moment…) much more individually than as a smoosh.

I suppose people may have got the connection of how you can have xander/zander as a name and also xavier/zavier so why can’t you have alexander or alexavier lol I love xavier myself and logan also phoenix but apparently as one name it is all xmen charcters! (that of which i did not realise until i was told)

sounds like you are desperately trying to ‘be different’ like everyone else and find ‘new’ ways to change up [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] and not make them trendy. you didnt succeed and no one ever will.

dont use it.

I could deal with [name]Alec[/name] [name]Xavier[/name] Surname, otherwise I’m struggling.

Well, I am among the few, but I like it. A lot better than some of the other made up names and squish combos.

I actually groaned when I saw this. I know someone who used Alexavier, and it has made me shudder and cringe ever since I saw the birth announcement. I am not a fan of smoosh names in general, though occasionally you do see one that works, but this is not one of them. It’s the male equivalent of Reneesme. I feel like the next step from these tritely-joined mashups are things like Masonoah, Barnabythan, and Aidaniel. :stuck_out_tongue:

Agreed! Otherwise, I’m not a fan. [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Xavier[/name] or [name]Xavier[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] is nice enough. Very few “smooshes” work, [name]IMO[/name].

I’m with vanessaelless - [name]Alec[/name] [name]Xavier[/name] Surname, but I’m not a fan of Alexavier.

[name]Susan[/name]

It’s certainly not the worst combination I’ve heard but I much prefer them as separate entities. [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] are perfectly good names on their own.

It seems like a smoosh of [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name].

Personally I don’t like it. It’s too trendy. To me, it wouldnt stand the test of time.

As i previously said i am not ‘planning’ on using this name myself at all…!! i just came across it. I am NOT ‘desperately’ trying to be different at all… That has offended me as you are implying that those who use unusual or unique names are desperate to be different… cant someone just like a name… whether it popular or not? Im pretty sure that ‘ALEXAVIER’ is better than some of the pants names i have seen! oh and FYI i like [name]Xavier[/name]… (as shown in my signature) is that okay or is that unsuccessful also?

Maybe because i’m an [name]Alexandra[/name] but Alexavier just bugs me.
I’d probably choose [name]Alexander[/name] or [name]Xavier[/name]. The combo reminds me of smooth names where the parent’s couldn’t decide between one and the other and choose both.

You could also use [name]Xavier[/name] as a nn for and [name]AleXAnder[/name] [name]VERgil[/name] combo. (Or something V_ER as a mn).

Awful. [name]Truly[/name] awful.

It’s not terrible but I am not a fan of smoosh names, so it doesn’t appeal to me. I also don’t really love [name]Xavier[/name] on its own, which is probably influencing my opinion.
