Interested in [name_f]Alicie[/name_f], saw it on the [name_f]October[/name_f] month birth announcements blog.
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce it and what would you give as sibling names?

I think it’s pretty, but might be confused for [name_f]Alice[/name_f] often  I say it as [name_f]Alice[/name_f] with an ‘ee’ sound at the end - [name_m]Al[/name_m]-lyss-ee. For siblings, I suggest old fashioned nicknames.

I think I’d either say it like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] with an ‘ee’ sound at the end of “ah-lih-see”. Sounds like a nickname for [name_f]Alice[/name_f] more than a legit given name to me. Alyssie might be a better way of establishing the name as separate from [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Not sure if that’s completely made up though.

Anyway, all that aside, I prefer the ah-lih-see prn and find it endearing, though still a bit nicknamey.

I like it. [name_m]AL[/name_m]-liss-sEE, spelt Alyssie, like it was suggested, might be easier?
Siblings… Something with lots of nice vowels…
