Tell me the story behind a favorite name of yours. I don’t have any crazy stories, but I think what made me love [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] is kinda cute. I started liking it more when I read [name_m]Howl[/name_m]‘s Moving Castle, in which she’s the main character’s sister. It was my first time hearing it (or so I thought) but it felt kind of familiar. After a while I realized why! When I was 8 or 9 my absolute favourite book for a few months was called ‘’[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_f]Lettie[/name_f]’’ ([name_f]Lottie[/name_f] and [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] in [name_f]English[/name_f], but they changed the names in the Greek translation)

What’s your opinion on traditionally masculine names for girls, and traditionally feminine names for boys? I don’t personally like them, unless they have become truly unisex over time.
Does name popularity influence your name decisions? Yes! I wouldn’t use a name in real life if it was in the top 100. I wouldn’t use a top 200 name in general unless I really, really loved it.
How much do other [name_u]Berry[/name_u] opinions influence your name decisions? Other berries have managed to sway me on names I disliked so there’s that ( @ [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f])
What’s your opinion on using long, (but beautiful), easily mispronounced non-[name_f]English[/name_f] names in an [name_f]English[/name_f]-speaking country? As someone who has a long, easily mispronounced in [name_f]English[/name_f] name, I think they’re a bad idea. They just make life hard for no reason.
