What do you think of Alliterative names? Whether it is First and Last, First and Middle or All 3+ starting with the same letter? I used to be strongly against them myself, but now I’m sort of starting to see the appeal.
Would you use an alliterative name? What is your favorite alliterative combo?
I love alliteration! Usually only first and last, though. First, middle, and last is pushing it. lol Honestly, I’d be more likely to remember someone in passing named [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] than [name]Luke[/name] [name]Simpson[/name] or something like that. Plus, there are a few famous alliterations. [name]Jessie[/name] J (not sure if it counts), [name]Lindsey[/name] Lohan, any of the Kardashians, [name]Amy[/name] [name]Adams[/name], [name]Ozzy[/name] [name]Osbourne[/name], [name]Matthew[/name] McConaughey.
I like either First and Last or First and Middle. All 3 is a bit much! My mother’s name is [name]Mildred[/name] [name]Mary[/name], so that has to be my favorite.
I hadn’t realized how many Celebs had alliterative names, probably because they tend to just flow off your tongue and like you said, are much easier to remember! ((In fact, some of the biggest actors/actresses/musicians have had alliterative stage names!)) A few more I can think of and google up (Mostly stage names, some real names!) like [name]January[/name] [name]Jones[/name], [name]Joan[/name] [name]Jett[/name], [name]Janis[/name] [name]Joplin[/name], [name]Sharon[/name] [name]Stone[/name], [name]Susan[/name] Sarandon, [name]Priscilla[/name] [name]Presley[/name], [name]Brigitte[/name] [name]Bardot[/name], [name]Farrah[/name] Fawcett, [name]Lucy[/name] Liu, [name]Lucy[/name] Lawless, [name]Robert[/name] [name]Redford[/name], [name]Danny[/name] Devito, [name]Jesse[/name] [name]James[/name] (a few of them!), [name]Marilyn[/name] [name]Monroe[/name], [name]Sylvester[/name] Stalone, [name]Ryan[/name] [name]Reynolds[/name], [name]Mike[/name] Myers, [name]Janet[/name] [name]Jackson[/name], Seriously the list could go on and on!
