[name_f]My[/name_f] mom always liked the name [name_f]Janet[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], with [name_f]Janet[/name_f] having an accent above the e and being pronounced JuhNay, but accents are not allowed in names where we live so does anyone know a spelling that could be used to get the same JuhNay pronunciation? I was thinking [name_f]Janae[/name_f], but I can’t find a reference on pronunciation so I’m not sure if it’ll work.
[name_f]Janae[/name_f] for sure! That’s the middle name of someone in my life, and she pronounces it the way you’d like.
[name_f]Janae[/name_f] would work perfectly imo!
I agree [name_f]Janae[/name_f] is probably best, but I know a girl who says her name Juh-NAY but is spelled [name_f]Jenee[/name_f] !! That might get [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] pronunciation, but it’s a different alternative for you!!
I’d say [name_f]Janae[/name_f] as ‘juh-nay’ - and the one I met pronounced it like that.
[name_f]Janae[/name_f] for sure! It’s the only version I have seen with that pronunciation, and it’s surprisingly common?
Absolutely agree with everyone - [name_f]Janae[/name_f] is perfect No mistaking that pronunciation and it looks lovely!
[name_f]Janae[/name_f] makes most sense to me! This is actually my cousin’s name, and she spells it J@nea (which doesn’t make sense for the sound at all imo, so I don’t really recommend using it lol, but I do think it looks pretty). I’m familiar with [name_f]Danae[/name_f] and [name_f]Lanae[/name_f] so I would assume [name_f]Janae[/name_f] would be the go-to spelling. Only other spelling I can think of is [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Janee[/name_f], sort of like [name_f]Renee[/name_f] or Esme/Esmee, but with Jane’s popularity, I would think [name_f]Janae[/name_f] would be the best way to go.
Good luck!
