I think [name]Finley[/name] is about as feminine as you’re going to get. [name]Finlay[/name] and Fionnlagh are alternate spellings (the latter being the original Gaelic) but I think [name]Finley[/name], because of its trendy -ley ending, is most likely to be a girl. I wouldn’t make up a different spelling. You’ve chosen a male name for your daughter, which is fine, but changing the spelling to Finnleigh or [name]Fynly[/name] isn’t going to make it any more of a girls’ name.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Finley[/name]–almost named DD#2 that. I’ve seen it [name]Finlay[/name], [name]Finlee[/name], Finnlae, but I love it spelled Finnleigh–very feminine spelling in my opinion. Good luck!
