I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Calvin[/name] for a boy, but my husband poo-pooed it due to the fact my beloved (and deceased) cat was named [name]Calvin[/name]. I agree it would be fairly odd, but I wasn’t thinking of naming my son after my cat - I just really love the name and especially the nickname [name]Cal[/name]. I’ve seen [name]Calhoun[/name], [name]Calix[/name], [name]Caleb[/name], and so forth, but none of those really seem to fit the bill. Any suggestions?
With the nn [name]Cal[/name], my favorite longer name is [name]Callum[/name]. I’ve seen [name]Callahan[/name] around, but I’m not actually a fan of it.
I have been lusting over this name recently. [name]Callum[/name] means dove, which evokes peacefulness - an awesome quality to want to give (or hope to give) to your child.
[name]Callum[/name] would be an awesome boys name with the NN [name]Cal[/name]. [name]Cale[/name]/[name]Cael[/name] also came to mind. It is short by its self and doesn’t necessarily need a NN but could still use [name]Cal[/name].
