Alternative to Jennifer?

[name]Gwendolen[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], Gueneviere, [name]Ginevra[/name], [name]Geneva[/name], [name]Juniper[/name], [name]Jennet[/name], [name]Jenessa[/name], [name]Jennica[/name], etc

I’m a [name]Jennifer[/name] from the 70s, and I love my name. Yes, I was a member of a big club, and some of my best friends are named [name]Jennifer[/name] (and four sorority sisters from my year alone), but the ONLY thing against the name is its popularity in the 70s and 80s. It’s got a rich history, a lovely flow, and a unique combination of sound patterns with the J/F/R. It would totally be a Nameberry name if it hadn’t been so popular. I also don’t really think [name]Juniper[/name] has the same sound; to me, the /p/ makes the combination a little too hard, but I can see the appeal.

I agree with you that [name]Jennifer[/name] is dated in the U.S. Maybe Jennilee or [name]Jenna[/name] instead?

Have you considered something like [name]Gianna[/name]? It doesn’t sound like [name]Jennifer[/name], but the beginning is similar. She could go by [name]Ginny[/name], [name]Gia[/name], or [name]Anna[/name].
