[name]Just[/name] found out that I am expecting my first! It’s been a long time coming so we are very happy. As someone who has had plenty of years to ponder the possibilities I have a good amount of baby names picked out. I myself have an unusual name and as I’ve grown older I love that my name is very rare.
We have a girl’s name all set (favorite literary character and a long standing family name; even able to become a cheerful nickname) but a boy’s name we are similarly passionate about still eludes us.
[name]Dylan[/name] has long been in my top 10 as it has a lot of what we are looking for (literary/artistic/heritage), but it is very common now and that puts me off a bit. I’m open to all suggestions!
[name]Dylan[/name] is on yhe way down in popularity. I think the spelling [name]Dillon[/name] is much less popular (and still legitimate). If you’re really worried about popularity, you could go with something like [name]Declan[/name] or [name]Liam[/name] but I’d say if [name]Dylan[/name] is the name you really love, use it.
