I always thought [name]Cressida[/name] was a great modernization of [name]Jessica[/name]. Another great Shakespearean name, with the soft “essih”_“ah” sound, similar cadence, etc., although I hear [name]Cressida[/name] isn’t quite the literary heroine that [name]Jessica[/name] was. I love [name]Shakespeare[/name], but I haven’t gotten around to Troilus and [name]Cressida[/name] yet. I’ve always found [name]Cressida[/name] to be a lovely name, though!

From what others have said (sorry, I can’t think of any new suggestions), I like [name]Jessa[/name] and [name]Jessamine[/name].
