Hello Ladies!
I have posted some previous threads, and now I’m back with another question! lol (I’m only 15 weeks - what am I going to be like when I actually find out the sex of my bundle of joy?! - you all are going to be so sick of me!) Hopefully this one doesn’t get lengthy - my apologies if it does (=
Let me start by saying that our last name is Helmick & we have two children already:
[name]Riley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] - (before I named [name]Riley[/name] I checked the SSA 100 most popular names to make sure it wasn’t very common - the year before she was born, the name [name]Riley[/name], for a girl, sat at #72 I’m slightly annoyed with how popular it’s become for girls lol)
[name]Lucas[/name] [name]Sawyer[/name] - I go back & forth on his name, as much as I love it, I wonder if maybe I made a mistake with [name]Sawyer[/name] (as it has become unisex)
I feel that I should note that I like names that are a little more uncommon from most, however, my husband doesn’t feel the same. He likes names that are a little bit more trendier so, whenever he mentions a name that I can get on board with I am OVERJOYED! We both like surnames (but have no good ones in our families) and unisex names for girls.
He has mentioned that he likes the name [name]McKenzie[/name] as a MN for a girl. Although popular, it has been a favorite name of mine since childhood. (back when it was cool to name twins matching names like [name]Brenda[/name] & [name]Brendon[/name], I wanted twin girls [name]McKayla[/name] & [name]McKenzie[/name]) He also like the name [name]Taylor[/name] (I like it, but not for my own daughter - I feel she would be one of three in her class room) He also has mentioned he likes [name]Piper[/name], this is a name that for some reason I keep coming back to, but I’m unsure about it.
So finally, for my question, can you ladies help me out?
[name]Taylor[/name] [name]McKenzie[/name] Helmick - do you like it? Any variation suggestions?
[name]Piper[/name] [name]McKenzie[/name] Helmick -
I also like [name]Blakely[/name] as a MN but can’t find a first name to compliment it. Sorry for the length of this post, but any input is appreciated!
