I’ve never watched the Chipmunk film so :person_shrugging: It feels similar to [name_m]Calvin[/name_m], [name_m]Marvin[/name_m], [name_m]Kelvin[/name_m], [name_m]Kevin[/name_m] to me - slightly dated, but also solid? Like nearly-old-man-vibes, nearly-clunky-but-cool? I don’t hate it.

As nicknames:

[name_m]Al[/name_m]
[name_u]Alvie[/name_u]
[name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]
[name_u]Allie[/name_u]

I wouldn’t have thought of the chipmunks without you mentioning it, but I do think some would immediately jump to ALLL-VINNN! It still sounds quite dated to me, but [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] is having a resurgence right now so it might not be too far behind. You’d definitely be ahead of the trends! Can’t think of any other nicknames that haven’t already been mentioned, but [name_u]Alvie[/name_u] is really sweet.

I love [name_m]Alvin[/name_m] and I don’t think it’s too Chipmonky, but I think most people do, unfortunately. I agree, [name_u]Alvie[/name_u] would be a cute nickname. [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]!
