We thought we’d settled on the name [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] for a girl but we’re now torn between [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
Which name sounds best with older siblings [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]?
I like [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] best with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m]. [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] are definitely too close for me!
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] makes the most sense, but I think I prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]! [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are too similar as others have said!
I was torn between [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], for sake of each sibling having their own initial, but trying to say [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is a bit tongue twistery. So, [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] is definitely my top choice for you! [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is my favorite combo for sure, with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Maree[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] in a close second. I don’t care for the alliteration of [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] is too S heavy.
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] is best to me, followed by [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are a bit too close for me personally.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is lovely! [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Maree[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is charming too!
[name_f][/name_f]
I also like [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] is my favorite name to complete your set. Unfortunately, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] are too similar, in my opinion. [name_f][/name_f]I adore [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]!
I think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] work great together—I know sisters with these names!—but I also prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], and am going with her.
[name_f][/name_f]
I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] but I agree [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is a bit too much together.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is my favorite!
I was really torn between [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] but my vote goes to [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is just a little too similar to [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] is my my favourite combo of yours, followed by [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Maree[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]. You’ve got some gorgeous names and you truly can’t go wrong with any of them [name_f][/name_f]- good luck!
I’m somewhat surprised by everyone saying [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] for you. It feels extremely dated to the 90s/early 2000s to me. It’s a very common name in my age group but hasn’t been used much since. It doesn’t have the same classic timeless feel as [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] do, in my opinion. I prefer [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] for you. [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is way too close to [name_f]Emily[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] she’s so elegant and timeless however to close to Em1ly. Concerning [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] I think she’s fresh and spunky but I’m not keen on repeating initials within sibling sets therefore I would go with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]. [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] is down to earth, sweet and has that all American girl feel.
I think [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] fits great! [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_m]Perry[/name_m] is my favorite
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is by far my favourite name on your list. I think if you were spelling her ‘Emilia’ then way too close to [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but I actually think with the A it compliments the sibset well [name_f][/name_f]- especially if you use nicknames [name_f]Mia[/name_f] / [name_f]Mila[/name_f] / [name_f]Millie[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] / [name_f]Em[/name_f] for [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Maree[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
Anther name I thought was a good fit with [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] would be [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I think she would fit in really well with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] too.
Sorry to be that person but I wonder if you need a fourth option? I love your middles!
Alyssa is too dated for me and I think it makes Declan sound 90s to noughties (whereas Emily keeps him more classic and timeless). The nineties & noughties names will come back in but I wonder if given Emily was also very popular then (or the 70s-80s), you could go for a name that’s of this time but also bridges classic (eg Anna or Anne/Annie).
Elsa is cute but I’d prefer a non-E name if possible.
Emily and Amelia could be two Emmys/Millies/Lilys and far too close.
