What do think of [name_f]Amada[/name_f]? It means beloved in Spanish which is lovely, but I worry she would get mistaken for [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]. What do you think?
I actually read it as [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] at first. I am pretty tired though. Is it pronounced A-may-da or A-mar-da
I think it’s very pretty!
I think it’s “Am-ada” with a softer d sound than happens in [name_f]English[/name_f] (so like da instead of duh if that makes sense…)
I love this name, it’s on my own list! I do worry it might get mistaken for [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], but I love the soft sounds it has. It feels so gentle and kind.
So pretty! But I definitely think it would be mistaken for [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]. This is speaking out of personal experience.
It’s gorgeous! She might get [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] but it only takes a quick correction
It’s beautiful! It might be mistaken for [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] at first glance but I don’t think that’s a big problem
I misread the title as [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], so unfortunately it would. It has a nice meaning.
I’ve always thought [name_f]Amada[/name_f] was beautiful! I can see it getting confused with [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] since they look almost identical, but the A in the middle makes a different sound in each name, so I think it’s somewhat safe.
Amada is lovely! I think it’s too short to be confused with [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], but I seem to be in the minority here!
I do think it has the potential to be mixed up with [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] which is a shame because I much prefer it to [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]. Personally however, I immediately thought of armada, and then subsequently, the Spanish Armada.
Amada is pretty!
