Hello Nameberries,

I’m currently expecting our 10th baby. Siblings are [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Havilah[/name_f], [name_m]Grant[/name_m], [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_m]Timothy[/name_m], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].

I have had a difficult pregnancy where we thought we were losing baby girl, but she is hanging in there. Still have risks though and also they saw some soft markers for Down Syndrome so there is an increased possibility of that. We will love her no matter what but it’s all been scary and a lot to process.

My husband has come up with many of our baby names and I love that he enjoys it and I love the classic and vintage choices he has come up with.
So today he told me the name he has been thinking of.
[name_u]Amari[/name_u], which he said means miracle of God for she will be a miracle if she makes it.
I am touched by that and I think it has a nice sound it’s just really different to our other names.
Or is it…because we have [name_f]Havilah[/name_f] and [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] that are Hebrew names([name_f]Arielle[/name_f] is the french variant of [name_u]Ariel[/name_u]).

[name_m]Just[/name_m] curious your thoughts on the name, how it flows with our other kids, have you known any girls with this name?

The name I had been falling in love with is [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], which means life/alive and I just loved [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] too.

[name_u]Amari[/name_u] does sound a lot different than your other names, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it’s a really cool name and has meaning behind it. I’ve never personally known anyone named [name_u]Amari[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Amari[/name_u] and [name_u]Amari[/name_u] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]!

Yes, a middle could be an option too.

I’ve looked it up on instagram and facebook and it seems to be more popular as a boys name.

[name_u]Amari[/name_u] is really pretty and actually, i think it fits with your kids - familiar but distinctive, somewhere between [name_f]Havilah[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is stunning too and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_u]Amari[/name_u] would be delightful

I guess I just need to mull over it for awhile.

Part of me thinks it’s super sweet and beautiful and part of me feels like it sounds like the brand name [name_u]Armani[/name_u] or is more commonly a boy name.
