Which do you prefer and why?
[name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f], I just prefer the sound and style, and [name_f]Amber[/name_f] to me, while nice, just isn’t my personal taste. I also prefer the [name_f]Aislinn[/name_f] / [name_f]Aisling[/name_f] spelling to [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f], but that’s the Irish-American in me [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] is perfectly lovely too!
I prefer Amber, even though it’s pretty dated, I still love it!!
I think [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] is super cute!
(No real reason why. I’ve just always thought [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] sounded sweet and never cared for the sound of [name_f]Amber[/name_f], personally.)
I love [name_f]Amber[/name_f], I just think it sounds really sweet for a little girl. I don’t like [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] very much, it’s just not my style.
[name_f]Amber[/name_f]
i’m torn here… i think i would prefer [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] spelled [name_f]Aislinn[/name_f] or [name_f]Aisling[/name_f], i just can’t get behind that particular spelling. [name_f]Amber[/name_f] would be my second choice soundwise.
I really like them both though!
i prefer ashlynn (especially spelt aisling), it just has a nicer sound, and i love the nn ash!
Tough choice as I really like both. I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] - great sound and meaning
[name_f]Amber[/name_f]! beautiful and sweet. [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] feels too dated and trendy to me, sorry!
[name_f]Amber[/name_f] is pretty!
Neither are really my style, but I slightly prefer [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] over [name_f]Amber[/name_f]. As much as I like the traditional Irish spellings others have mentioned, I wouldn’t want to deal with the pronunciation issues, so my preferred spelling is actually [name_f]Ashlin[/name_f]. It feels intuitive to pronounce, but a little less fuss than [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f].
[name_f]Amber[/name_f] sounds so sweet and down to earth.
Definitely Amber; earthy, warm, easy to recognise and spell but not common. A friend called her baby [name_f]Amber[/name_f] and I have total name envy!
I love both…but slightly leaning towards [name_f]Amber[/name_f]. [name_f]Amber[/name_f] is unique and gorgeous but [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f] just falls into the basic -lynn category. I prefer [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f] just because the double n makes the name look unbalanced.
[name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f]!
I prefer [name_f]Amber[/name_f], it is warmer to me and makes me think of being outside in the sun. Also associate it with one of my favorite songs
Same and same! Team [name_f]Amber[/name_f] over here too!
